Most will probably agree that deep down, we're all one people. But in this world, the language barrier can turn otherwise simple situations into major gaffes of hilarious proportions. Some of us are familiar with trendy Westerners getting exotic tattoos of Asian symbols on their bodies, only to find out later that they mean "foreign white devil" or "spank my grandma" or something. But the same thing happens on the other side of the world, where having English all over your clothing is considered trendy by most people. I'm still chuckling over the "used ladies" and the washing instructions that say "no coleslaw" --not to mention a few of the others<ahem>:-)

I live in Korea and there are some pretty amazing shirts here. The elementary and middle school girls seem to wear them most often -- "Pre-Teen Hottie", "Yellow Men Can't Rap", "I only wanted a backrub" and those are just a few examples. This was a fun read, thanks!

One of my favorites was in a washroom overseas - "Toilet out of order, please use floor below" and another fave from Japan, "Baby-poop fudgecicles".

Gotta love that last one! "God Englis Speeked Hear."
